Network and Nibbles 2025
On 21st October, the Centre for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Studies (CEES) hosted its latest student engagement event, Network and Nibbles, at Helix, which is the state-of-the-art innovation centre located in the EC Stoner building on campus.
Open to all Leeds University Business School (LUBS) students, the evening provided a valuable opportunity to connect with enterprise ambassadors and fellow students in an informal setting. Attendees engaged in meaningful conversations, asked questions, and gained practical insights into the world of business and entrepreneurship.
The event featured a presentation from a committee member of the Leeds Entrepreneurs Society, offering perspectives on student-led enterprise and the entrepreneurial journey. Refreshments, including pizza and drinks, were provided throughout the evening, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for networking.
A guided tour of Helix followed, showcasing its impressive facilities designed to support innovation and creativity. Students explored:
- A professional podcasting suite
- A virtual reality (VR) room
- A Maker Space classroom
- A T-shirt printing studio
- And other collaborative workspaces
Network and Nibbles successfully brought together students and enterprise leaders, fostering connections and sparking ideas. CEES looks forward to hosting future events that continue to inspire and empower the next generation of entrepreneurs.
