Barney Williams

Barney Williams (BA Environment and Business, 2013) is Co-Founder of Zeelo, an enterprise transportation company serving employers and schools across the US, UK, and Ireland. He co-founded Zeelo in 2016 alongside Sam Ryan, and today leads sales, marketing, and partnerships — helping organisations turn transport from a background cost into a measurable operational advantage. Zeelo has delivered over 30 million rides, serves more than 200 customers including major manufacturers, logistics providers, universities, and independent schools, and has achieved 175%+ year-on-year revenue growth in North America.

Barney's entrepreneurial journey began at Leeds, where he co-founded JumpIn — a ride-pooling platform that expanded to five UK cities before being acquired by Addison Lee in 2014. He went on to serve as Head of Brand at Addison Lee before launching Zeelo. A winner of the SPARK Leeds Business Plan Competition, Barney now gives back as an Enterprise Ambassador at Leeds University Business School.
